Love Without Reason honors and celebrates the children and adults who have lived with facial birth defects. In Zimbabwe, Kenya, and India, the stories are very similar relating to the social stigma associated with having such birth defects.
A gift of $500 to $1000 will change the face of a child in these countries. Nearly 500 lives have been transformed by LWR since 2012, and we are not quitting!
Philip Mathews coined the phrase, “We will work, until the world is cleft-free!”
One 16-year old young man we met in Zimbabwe named Slempa, told us that in his village 300km away from Harare, people call him “split mouth.” There is no acceptance for children born in underdeveloped countries. People like Ernest will not even look you in the eyes, because all they have ever known is rejection and humiliation.
Let’s raise awareness, raise money and RUN in honor of children like Slempa!!
Thank you for your support and thank you for believing in the vision of Love Without Reason.
